Hi Castleville game players, in the upcoming update next week Zynga will add more Carnival Decoration for your kingdom. Aside from that, seems like Zynga also wants to change the quest requirements message that probably will help you to plan organize the quest you’re currently having.. we are not sure how, but let’s see about that later :) . Also there will be a new quest regarding the sinister tree, and maybe we’ll have a new character soon? Looks like there’s a kid (Baz?) stuck inside the tree. Here’re the images:

Q: I had a neighbor visit my Kingdom, but no progress was added to my party, why is that?

A: In order to see the progress bar increase on your Carnival Party, your Neighbor will need to complete 5 actions in your Kingdom. You may also need to refresh before you see any changes.

Q: How do I get the progress bar to increase on the Party?

A: If you click on the Carnival Party you’ll see the Post Invitation button. This will tell all your friends that you’re having a party and they’re invited! Once they perform 5 actions in your Kingdom you’ll receive 1 visit added to the progress bar. (A refresh may be required for new changes to show up.)

Castleville Carnival Party

Q: How do I know who’s having a party so I can help them out?

A: Those currently throwing a party will have an especially festive border around their name in the Neighbor bar. You can also check for invitations on the Newsfeed.

Q: My party ended, how do I start another to get more Prizes?

A: All you need to do is craft another Carnival Party in the Party Pavilion and place it in your Kingdom. (Carnival Parties are available to craft for 3 weeks.)

Q: I crafted a Gold Bead but don’t see it in my inventory. Where is it?

A: The Gold Bead is a special material used in the King’s Cake Prize so it is stored under the Materials section of your Inventory. It will automatically be added to the materials of the King’s Cake Prize recipe once acquired.

Q: I crafted some Prizes but I can’t find them. Where did they go?

A: All the Prizes, not counting the Gold Beads material, are stored under the Consumables section of your Inventory. Click on them to use them. Once clicked, each Prize will then go to it’s appropriate section, e.g., clothes to the Customize Avatar window, King’s Cake to Consumables, Sonja’s Party Costume to Sonja etc.

Q: I clicked on some of the Prizes but didn’t get anything, why not?

A: Once you click to open up the Prize it will be added to the appropriate place of your Inventory, or Customize Avatar window for clothes etc. On items that have been opened already, such as the King’s Cake, these Prizes will drop next to your avatar once clicked.

This is the official guide about starting Alliance with your neighbor, the latest feature on the Castleville game.

Creating Alliances with your Neighbors is easy, and today we’ll show you how! The more Alliances you have, the more amazing things you will unlock in the Market; unlock Decorations, Buildings and more by completing tasks in your Neighbors’ Kingdoms.

  1. To get started we’ll check out the Duke’s Kingdom. If you look at his name on the Neighbor bar you’ll notice the Alliance bar above showing your current progress in becoming his Ally. (From the picture below you can see that I have already completed some tasks in his Kingdom.)

  2. Once we get to his (or your Neighbor’s) Kingdom, we see that we aren’t Allies yet. This new window also shows some of the sweet rewards we’ll receive after getting 3, 7 and 15 new Allies!
  3. After closing this screen, you will now see an icon at the top right which currently says that I am “Not Allies” with the Duke. Clicking on this, the Alliance meter, will bring up the window shown in the step above, and some of the next prizes.
  4. All we need to do now is do some more actions in the Duke’s Kingdom; so after tending some Flowers, beating up a Beastie or two, etc, we should now have become Allies with the Duke!
  5. Now that we’re Allies with the Duke, there is a banner whenever we hover the mouse over his name in the Neighbor bar, as well as an Alliance icon next to his picture! When visiting the Duke’s Kingdom, there will also be a banner that shows that we’re Allies. You can click this to show what rewards you can unlock next and how many Allies you have (your current number of Alliances can also be viewed in the Market next to your XP)

FAQ:

Q: Where can I see how many Allies I have?

A: You can find out how many Allies you currently have by clicking on the Market, there you will see your Alliance score icon. You can also see how many Allies you have by clicking on the Alliance meter at the top-right of the screen in any Neighbor’s Kingdom.

Q: What does this Alliance score do for me?

A: The more Alliances you have, the better awards you’ll unlock! Having a higher amount means you’ll unlock even more special items in the Market. Items that can be unlocked by Alliances will have an Alliance icon with the amount of Allies required in the description when you hover the mouse over it.

Castleville Alliances Quest Mission GuideThe Duke will give you this mission when you’re at level 6 or above. This quest teach us about the new feature in this Castleville game, Alliance with your neighbor. The Alliances quest has 5 missions and overall the quest is easy. FAQ:

Q: In quest 4/5, Give and Take it says to place the Alliance Banner but it is still showing up as locked. Why is that?

A: Unlocking new items, such as the Alliance Banner, is as easy as creating new Alliances with your Neighbors. You will need to create an Alliance with 1 Neighbor in order to unlock this decoration.

Q: I have several Allies but some of the items in the Market are locked. How do I tell how many Allies I need before I unlock them?

A: There are a couple of ways: one way is to hover the mouse over the item in the Market which will show you the Alliance icon with the number of Allies required to unlock that item. Another way is to click on the Alliance meter in any Neighbor’s Kingdom. This will show your current number of Allies, some of the upcoming rewards, and the amount of Alliances needed to unlock them.

Q: How does the Alliance meter increase?

A: By performing regular actions in your Neighbors’ Kingdoms, such as tending buildings, animals and flowers etc, you will gain Alliance points. Alliance points drop like coins and Reputation and are added to the Alliance score at that Neighbor’s Kingdom. Click on the Alliance meter at the top right of your screen in a Neighbor’s Kingdom to see more information.

So the upcoming Castleville game update will have a Carnival theme, and from the images it looks like we possibly would need to  to make a new outfit again for our Castleville NPCs. Also it seems there will be another event (or quest?) that will give you a chance to earn double gold from taxing houses for 3 days. Other than that, there are new carnival outfits, decoration, building and animals. Check them out here:

Seems like the upcoming Castleville update will have a dark theme. As the picture below shows, there are new enemies coming (possibly orcs and roots?). So you can expect to have another new gloom potion that can lure this new enemies. And also, it looks like there won’t just be gloom beasties that will block our object in the game, a nasty gloom root will block them too. There are 3 new quests that will come with this update, we will update you once we have more informations. For now, check out the images below:

Now that Chef Mia has decided to stay in your Kingdom as a new character, she’ll be around to teach you how to master all your old recipes and even some new ones (and you thought your grilled cheese sandwich recipe was pretty good). Check out the guide below for more details!

  1. Once you reach the What a Tart! quest, in the Get Cooking questline, Mia will start showing you how to master your recipes and Kitchen Mastery will be unlocked! To get started, click on the Kitchen and find a recipe you want to master.

(The number (0/10) above the recipe to be crafted indicates how many you need in order to reach the next level. The number in the ribbon indicates your recipe’s current level.)

  2. Once you have crafted the recipe 10 times, you will reach Mastery level 1 on that recipe and be able to craft it 10% faster!

That’s all there is to it! Continue crafting more recipes and power up their mastery level to gain more rewards!
May I borrow some sugar?

Occasionally while cooking, you will find some extra ingredients that you can share with your friends! (It won’t hurt them not to know we dropped these ingredients on the floor.) Don’t forget to check your Neighbors’ walls to find leftover ingredients!

FAQ:
Q: When do I get mastery for my Kitchen?

A: First you’ll need to convince Mia that you will make a good student. You should be able to do this and get mastery once you reach the What a Tart! quest in the Get Cooking questline.

Q: I reached level 1 mastery on an recipe but it still shows the regular time.

A: Recipes crafted will still show the original time in the Kitchen, but the actual timer on the Kitchen will reflect the increased production time.

Q: I just mastered the recipe but all my other recipes are still taking the same amount of time, why is that?

A: Practice makes perfect. Each recipe has its own mastery level. Keep crafting to master all the recipes!

Q: I love mastery recipes for the Kitchen! Are there plans for mastery recipes in the other Crafting Buildings?

A: Having more subjects means having more famous people, like Mia. There’s likely someone out there who can help with crafting mastery for the other Crafting Buildings in the future!

Castleville Mia Get Cooking Quest Mission Help GuideMia will give you this quest after you finished the Food Courtship Quest. This quest contains 10 missions, and you will learn about cooking mastery level in here. When you have your mastery level up for a recipe, you can craft the recipe faster.
